I hope all goes smoothly....how is everything else going?

Really great :) K1 was so much harder to endure because of the separation. I haven't stressed out at all about AOS/EAD/AP. That's Jeremy's baby. I think that he wants to start working this summer. He's convinced that he can work as soon as he has a ssn??? What do you guys think? He says that he only needs an EAD if the employer does e-verify and wants more proof...what do u think?

But yeah, life is good :) How are you 2 doing?

The SSN is important to be able to get things like banks accounts etc... in both of your names ...but to meet I-9 requirements you will need that EAD to work. The I-9 is the form the employer needs to complete see the link http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-9.pdf

I am telling Balvino to wait for the EAD. It says on the SSN card "valid with DHS" or something like that. I wish Balvino could work but we are waiting.

Thanks for the form link you rock subguy812. Balvino will be working for a family I know very well. I have read that your spouse working for family is a red flag. They are almost like family I sometimes worry.

Ok guys.

Checks were cashed today for the *second* application. Just one question. I have Bank of America and was wondering which dates do you guys use?

I see where the back of the check has the MSC RECEIPT NUMBER and a date of 06/15/09

The check posted the bank on 06/16/09 but I'm just seeing today 06/17/09.

Would you use the 15th, 16th or 17th?

edit: how come the receipt numbers don't show on the tracking page? how long does it take USCIS to add them?

I put the date that my bank statement showed the checks...the 11th. My check was cashed on the 11th but I did not see it till the 12th. I have BofA too. Once I had my NOA's I put them in the system and everything was there. Congrats...soon NOAs will arrive.

Hello,congrats and welcome to June filers.Things have been moving pretty smoothly for us and i wish you the same.Everything will be fine,just have faith and a little patience.

I however can not answer your question about the SSN since i didnt have one at the time of filing AOS and still dont now.
