Wow!! So my update is our new life arrived in the mail today. We received all three NOAs, Balvino's SSN card...with his new name, My new DL with my new name, and Balvino got his banking card for our joint bank account...with his new name. I am so excited! :dancing: When it rains it pours.

Our NOA says received on Sunday the 7th and Notice date on the 11th. It is so strange that a lot of our paperwork is dealt with on Sundays. Our K-1 was approved on a Sunday. I added on all three cases on to my online account with USCIS. I could see all the info and I think I signed up for emails. I can never tell if it works.

Congrats to everyone else. Those of you that received Bio appointments how did you get word? Through the mail or email?

Leo Feng... your situation does sound a bit confusing but it sounds like you figured it out. I think the suggestion of setting up a infopass appointment may not be a bad idea if you can swing it.

I am exhausted. I need a little wine to celebrate. Keep the good news coming.

I would have to update my timeline for AOS. But I'm so glad that I got the mail that I've been waiting for - biometrics. I'm scheduled to have it done on July 2 at the San Marcos ASC. I'm hoping I'd get transferred to CSC just so I wouldn't have to go through the interview. I don't mind though. But wouldn't it be better to not have one? :)

Good luck on your journeys.... I hope everyone will have a smooth sailing AOS. ;)

Yes I am sure sure we would all like to not have an interview now and also again when it is time remove conditions. It appears that sometimes the packages get sent to California and then sent back out to National Benefits Center once an adjudicator at Californnia may decide the package needs to go through the interview process. So I guess even straight to California is not a guarantee.

About the appointment thing mentioned. I have noticed that a few people get by without interviews. I wonder what the percentage is and how they determine who doesn't need them. Any idea?

Hi everyone, we may be joining you.

We were married April 11th and have been using a lawyer since our case is sort of complicated. We just got a notice from our lawyer that my husband needs to submit a vaccination supplement.

I have a question--my husband already had his complete medical and all vaccinations before he even came here. He handed it all in at the point of entry. Does he really need to do anything else? I've been looking at this in the FAQ--

If the beneficiary's vaccinations were COMPLETED as part of the visa process, IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO INCLUDE FORM I-693 IN THE AOS SUBMISSION. All your medical information is enclosed in the brown envelope which was handed in at the POE. The envelope is then forwarded on to USCIS where it will be consolidated with the I-485 submission, once received. If you received a copy of the Vaccination Documentation Worksheet (Form DS-3025) from your Panel Physician, you may include a copy of that form in your AOS submission in place of Form I-693.

Sounds to me like the USCIS will take what he gave them and consolidate it. Am I right or wrong? Or just confused.

I saw that, and I only submitted DS-3025. I have seen some cases on VJ where they are issued an RFE because the forwarded medical was lost, but I decided to take my chances since I also read that the EAD isn't dependant on that, and that's the main thing for us right now - work! It does make it sound optional, so if you dont have that either I dont forsee a big problem. Again, each case is different.

Hoping to get the green postcard from the certified mail back today. It should have at least been received by now but we haven't got the card back with the signature yet. How did some of you get immediate notice? Did they give you a tracking #?

When I dropped my package off at the post office I just asked for the basic. They gave me a piece of paper with a number on it and the number was on my receipt. I just tracked online. USCIS received it on the 6th but according to the NOA they did not open it till the 7th. Any news today?

Wow Winifredbee, you really got good stuff in your mailbox. We still haven't got Josue's new debit card but we have gotten the new credit cards in his name that we added to my accounts. We also got his social security card today (that has the "Not able to work without DHS authorization"). Also, I finally figured out how to track the certified mail using the label# (duh!) so we saw it was delivered on the 12th (Friday night!) Looking at the spreadsheet it looks like it takes about 5 or 6 days to issue the NOA, so hopefully by Thursday we'll have the NOA issued and on its way!

By the way, I changed the spreadsheet so that you can edit it if you want to. I truly don't mind doing it if you still want to post your updates, but if you are one to take charge and want to update your own, feel free!

I updated your NOA dates on the spreadsheet, Mon Ami. Mine is automatically signed in since I always use my computer and I am the "owner", but I set it so you don't have to sign it to change it. I think you just update the appropriate fields and hit save in the top right corner...or it may even save automatically.

It's looking good, everybody! Most who have sent their's in on or before the 1st already have Biometric appointments. The rest of us...our time is coming! Now I'm going to check out some of the spreadsheets from April & May and see how progress is coming!
