Here starts another week of waiting and waiting ... am starting to get past anxious and getting to annoyed do not think they want me to call and let them know what i think of their service .. IT SUCKS ..... now c'mon and get back to work you lazy gov. workers

Good luck to everyone still waiting.

Does anyone waiting actually NEED their greencard to get their DL or anything like that? I personally don't need mine for anything so I'm not really that anxious.

Removing Conditions

Sent package to VSC - 8/12/11

NOA1 - 8/16/11

Biometrics - 9/14/11

Hi guys and girls. I have returned from darkness to update you all. A few weeks ago I set up an infopass appt. to go and ask WT* was going on. The officer told me the last activity on my I-485 was 06/23 and I had to wait 4 months (of no activity) before I could come back and complain.

So I waited.

Last week I setup an appt for 10/26 (monday) to go to USCIS.

Didn't need to. On 10/23 (friday) I got a letter notifying me to present on 11/25 @ 9AM for the interview.

Got the letter exactly 4 months later.

I really hope you guys find the patience to wait. It is very hard.

Ironically I got great news when I was not expecting any.

Hang on, relax and use that EAD. Sure, it's not a green card but it can bring another kind of green home ;-)

Stay positive for the sake of your marriage. It sure is a test of love.

06/11/09 -- day 00 -- Packaged delivered at 2:12. Signed by R MERCADO.

06/15/09 -- day 04 -- NOAs issued & mailed from ZIP 60603.

06/16/09 -- day 05 -- All 3 checks posted on my account (deposited the 15th, showed up on the 17th)

06/17/09 -- day 06 -- 1st NOAs received in the mail for I-130/I-485

06/17/09 -- day 06 -- 2nd NOA issued and mailed: fingerprint appt. issued for 07/08/09 at 10 AM

06/20/09 -- day 09 -- 2nd NOA (fingerprint appt.) received in the mail.

06/23/09 -- day 12 -- BIOMETRICS done at 1:30pm -- 15 days ahead of schedule. YAY!

08/18/09 -- day 69 -- Sent out I-765 (EAD) application to TX SVC CNT

08/21/09 -- day 72 -- I-765 app. delivered to TX SVC CNT and NOA1 issued (wow!)

08/25/09 -- day 76 -- NOA1 for EAD mailed

08/31/09 -- day 82 -- CRIS email: EAD Card production ordered on 08/29/09

09/01/09 -- day 83 -- CRIS email: EAD Card production ordered again

09/03/09 -- day 85 -- CRIS email: EAD approval notice sent on 09/02/09

09/04/09 -- day 86 -- EAD arrived on the mail. Mailed by TX SVC CENTER but origin ZIP: 40701 (Corbin, KY) Huh?

10/19/09 -- day 131 -- Interview letter issued, mailed 10/20

10/23/09 -- day 134 -- Interview letter received

11/25/09 -- day 168 -- Interview at 9AM: Approval will be recommended to supervisor. 6pm: CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED

Leo Fang, thanks for your update! All of our cases were transferred to california, was yours? I would rather wait than have an interview :help:

I am sure using the ead, working away every day, it would be hard to be just waiting for the gc

Thanks. No, my case remained at the NBC since the beginning.

I had some serious issues there vut luckily everything has gotten resolved.

I can look forward to 11/25 the day that I, hopefully and God willing, I become an LPR.

Until then the wife enjoys coming home to a clean house where laundry is done and dinner ready :-)

hope that means the rest of you are getting it very soon

ok i didn't actually need it but that means a load has been lifted off my chest just knowing things are well !!

I am beyond annoyed right now because the August filers are getting approved and here we are ... It's like standing in a line and everyone is going right ahead of you, I am so upset.

I know what you mean. They send you a bit of paper that says they are transferring us to 'speed up processing'...and here we wait, being passed over by people who filed two months after we did.
