Ok....here is the update. They gave me until Sept. 18th to return the evidence so I started to call the CS's in Orlando area, prices have gone up a bit since last check. The average was about 275.00 one wanted 500.00. And the majority had no available appointments this week and some were not available for 2 weeks. It worried me a little because if she had to have the full medical I knew it would mean time for results to return from the lab as well. My last call was to a Dr. who ask if I could get there today. His price was 130. +25. for the labs. WOOHOO so we went today. He reviewed the vaccinations and said he wouldn't sign off or ignore the fact that Alexandra had started the HPV but now she is 27 so she isn't supposed to have anymore of the series, a controversy in and of itself. He said it would be signed as incomplete unless she has it. Then he said there was one other vaccination she needed as well. By the end of the day my 155.00 day cost me 408.00. But the tests and paperwork will be ready on Thursday and then I can have her skin test read and pick up her paperwork. I have a feeling they lost the paperwork as well, but you are kind of between a rock and a hard place. Poor Alexandra is the most examined, vaccinated woman I know...

I have not reported any mail because we only get mail once a week due to the mail being forwarded from Boston to the Berkshires. I will let everyone know if anything comes at the end of this week.

Well that totally sucks. She already had all this done, they lost the medical paperwork, and you have to pay to have it all again. Once you hand that envelope over at the POE...you think they would keep track of it.

There may have been a coffee spill they needed to clean up or something...totally understandable, just grab the first papers you see to clean it up.

For those of us stuck and thinking of breaking in your local post office to get mail quicker [ DON'T! ], try calling the FBI to check on the fingerprint. In this bureaucratic/electronic era it is possible that the FBI never received the electronic prints from the ASC.

My prints were captured, sent to FBI, completed on, and forwarded the results back to USCIS on 06/23. All in the same day.

You cannot call anyone for background/name check just yet.

I still haven't received my EAD. I got two card production emails, one on July 28th and the other on July 31st. It is now August 12th and nothing in the mail yet. Not even my appointment date for my interview. I am getting a tad bit frustrated.

Poor Alexandra is the most examined, vaccinated woman I know...

Subguy, I hear you!! I went through a complete nightmare myself when I was doing the medical exam. Not only did it cost me $700 bucks, but the place was the shadiest dump I have ever been to in my life (let alone a "medical center"!)! All the clientele consisted of homeless people and drug addicts, and I actually got a skin rash AFTER visiting the place! SCARY! Yeah, if you're a healthy person when you get there, they make sure you're not when you leave!

And that wasn't all - after going back there several times because they were out of the TB test and the various vaccines, they finally said they were ready to sign off, and then it turned out the doctor had FALLEN OFF the USCIS approved physician list!! I couldn't believe it! So they sent me to another medical center, where they decided I need 2 extra vaccines and extorted me for additional money. The weirdest thing was the nurse took my money in the back room, without providing a receipt! Afterwards it occurred to me she probably pocketed the cash for herself! Absolutely insane, horrible process!
