I got an email yesterday about my AOS, card production oredered. I am just wondering , is it normal that my AOS comes first before EAD AND AP approval?

That is excellent news! The AOS card is the biggie anyway....you won't need the others once you get that!

Congratulations everyone on all the news!

chadherm, that's great, all the waiting is behind you now!

I have some news myself! Today I got mail from USCIS and I thought it would be an interview letter, but it turned out to be my AP. It took them 2 days to get it delivered to me, very impressive!

I have a couple of questions for you guys:

1) I got two identical APs and I was wondering why I need two copies of it? Is it just a mistake or should I take both of them with me when I travel?

2) I noticed that my address is spelled wrong (one letter is missing) and I don't know how big of a deal it is. I went back and checked all my NOAs, and the address is spelled correctly on all of them, but AP. I didn't even notice it back then, got 5 all at the same time and just assumed the address would be spelled the same?!

So on all other documents I should have the correct address, so I was wondering whether you think it is a big deal, or if I should just ignore it, it's not like my name is spelled wrong.. Don't really know what to do.

Congrats on receiving your AP's! I would carry both with me when I travelled. I really think you only need one because once it is stamped at the POE you can use it again and again, if you applied for multi trips!! I have heard people say that the officer keeps one copy and gives you the other stamped, but I have also heard they only enter information into their system from the form. I have also heard of people receiving only one so I would assume(dangerous word) they could make a copy if they needed it.

I do not know what to tell you about the address...I don't want to guess and the information is incorrect.

Same here..Maybe that just means that our cards were made, and today they mailed them?! Just a guess..

Congrats on receiving your AP's! I would carry both with me when I travelled. Thank you!! I think that is exactly what I will do, take both of them with me when I travel, and then whatever happens, happens..

As to the address, I am thinking about not doing anything about it, AP is not that important, I doubt they would make a big deal out of it at POE, if notice 1 letter missing at all. Unless someone gives me some other advice, I'll just not worry about it
