hi everybody

i was approved on april 27th with a hard copy notice in the mail for my i-751----i called yesterday to see where my card was with a service enquiry about my card- because it was past 30 days---and today i received this email---

Application Type: CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

The CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED was transferred and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done, counting from when USCIS received it. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. To receive e-mail updates, follow the link below to register.

i was approved on april 27th and my status online said that my case was transferred to csc on march 12th until i recieved the above email

i wonder what this means? does it mean that they are going to send my card next or should i call back or just wait it out and see if i get my card production email next?

any ideas?

I would wait -

The chatter going on is that they are delaying GC production because they moved offices or something.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

thanks--i think i will do that

any ideas why i would get that kind of email after making a service enquiry about my card?

automated system - clearing out messages most likely.

There are some people here that are came here as LPR's, are now USC's, yet the system shows them as "pending" for their K-1....

go figure

Any idea on how long the delay is going to be? I received a card production email on 5/11 as my wife entered on a CR-1 and we haven't received anything yet.

Hi,

You were lucky that the service rep. was nice enough to file a service request for you since its been over 30 days. My card production has been 30 days and when I called they wouldn't file a service request for me and said that I had to file a I-90 form.

When I called and talked to a supervisor, he told me to file a I90 as well. Filing I90 because you did not receive the card (unless you have changed address) is free, I believe.

Not sure I want to do that yet.

They could not file another service inquiry for me because the first representative I talked to sent a inquiry to VSC instead of CSC, which means that they are not allowed to send another inquiry this soon.

The supervisor did say that I was approved and CSC has not sent out the card yet.

yea, theres no way im gonna pay another $290-00 or whatever the fee is to file i-90 just because they cant send the card out in 30 days

That is correct, after 7 months and a half I finally received the 10 year greencards (mine and my son's). But i have to send back my card due to wrong alien number on it. I filed I=90 for replacement and it was free. My one year extension letter will expire on June 30th. i called uscis and said that I have to wait for 180 days before I call them again. So i need to go and drive to local uscis office in Michigan for infopass to get my passport stamped.

i wonder how long before we recieve our cards---i know there is a 8 week delay, worse case scenario i hope------but wouldnt it be nice if they finished the upgrade of their systems in the next few days---that would be awesome wouldnt it---i mean how long can it take to fix or upgrade a computer system---2 weeks maybe 3??

wouldnt it be nice if the cards staring rolling out in the next week or so---cause im sure if the system is done upgrading they will come thick and fast
