Copies or Original w-2s?

I don't know whether or not to send copies or originals of w-2s - I know most things you just need a copy, but w-2s and payslips/bank statements - are they different?

I am also sending copies of W-2 and not originals. I will post here once NVC accepts my AOS package and let you know whether that was a mistake

Actually all my questions have to do with DCF just the do's and don't's within the directo consular filing process. I was planning on doing a K-3 beforehand so I don't know the differences, so asking a question on w-2s as I need it because I just found out I need to be a sponsor for my husband as well has to do with DCF but thanks.
