Hello people of VJ,

Me and my fiance decided to continue with the visa process, ao my new interview date will be on January, 28th. I have a question about the new form that needs to fill out online.I think it's DS160? I got my packet3 in July and packet4 in September and my interview date was supposed to be in October 2013 but I post phoned it to January 2014.My question is do I have to fill out the form online or not?they didn't ask me to fill out any form online when I asked for the new date of interview but I'm worry if they ask for it during the interview and it'll be a big trouble if I don't have it. :(

Not that I know of! Hardly any Malaysian goes into AP, unless foreigner applying in Malaysia?

From what I have read here, they usually get the Visa within 3 working days. I have not encountered anyone on VJ from Malaysia that goes into AP.

I went with my fiancé this morning for the document submission but they did not let him in, they will let him in for the actual interview later but I don't know if he will be interviewed or not. I will write a full review on it after I am done. One more hour! Good luck to me!

Yes! Take photos with you because that lady likes to look at photos. If you have any with family is even better!! Have fun in KL!! G tower is closest to the embassy but any hotel is good because it's really close to city centre.

Hi people of VJ, I need some help on some of the things that I am not sure of. Any help is greatly appreciated and if I post in the wrong thread, do let me know

I actually went to US in December and applied for the normal B1/B2 visa as my initial plan was to visit my girlfriend there. Due to some unforeseen circumstances (not due to pregnancy or anything illegal smile.png ), we decided to get married. Also because of the circumstances we are in, my wife decided to stay in US (she is a green card holder) whereby I came back to Malaysia alone.

Now she is trying to apply for permanent residence status for me in US so we can live together in US but would need some help on some questions

(1) She will be my sponsor, so she will be applying K-3 visa for me? If not what should she apply for?

(2) I have extracted my birth certificate in the new format with both English and Malay subject/titles but the

information is still written in Malay. Example is Tarikh Lahir / Birth date but the date is still written in Malay.

Can that be used or I will need to have it translated?

(3) If needs to translated, is there a list of "approved" translator can I need to use?

(4) If I don't need to translate my birth certificate, do I still need to have it certified by a notary member?
