Hi all

Please help

Done with my medical in KL today and doctor said he will send the report directly to Embassy . Can somebody please confirm if this is normal that doctor send to embassy?

As the instructions read from the packet 4 that doctor should hand over the report in normal cases.

there are two parts. The doctor will give to you one in a sealed envelope, which you must bring to your interview. Other one the doctor will send directly to the embassy. I think its for the x ray report. The x ray film will be given to you but is NOT to be brought to the interview. You MUST hand carry on ur trip to the USA and five to immigration officer

Hi JP and Tee

Thanks for taking time to answer my query.

That is what I thought but on the day of my medical at KL Clinic doctor told me that he will be sending the reports directly to Embassy and I shouldn't worry about coming back and collect any report. That sound weird and when I refereed to the instructions on the Packet 4 medical sheet he said these are old instructions .

I am getting curious if this is normal in case of medical done at KL clinic for everyone or there is some problem .

Hi All!

Glad we found this thread :) My fiance is originally from Afghanistan but has been residing in Malaysia as a student for the past 3 years, so we will be interviewing there. Any tips anyone might have for the process we'd appreciate it!

Also, does anyone know if we would be treated differently during the interview process since he is not a Malaysian citizen?

Thanks!! smile.png

Just had my medical done in KL, got there early in the morning before 10am and was done with the whole medical and xray (which is in Jalan Raja Laut btw, so you'll have to go to two different places!) well before 12pm!

It costed RM355 and I had to get 2 vaccinations and 1 more jab for a blood sample cray5ol.gif It's seriously blood, sweat and tears to get this visa!

I was told to go in a week's time to pick up my results and xray though - not sure if they send a copy to the embassy as well...

Hey there!

Thank you! Actually, we didn't know when was our NOA1. We only know that the alien registration number was changed on Sept 10. Yours will come VERY soon! Now I am going to worry about NVC now. I am going to KL on 23-29 Oct so I am hoping that I can get my medical done there during that time. I don't want to have to fly to Kuching, KL or Penang to get it done!

You will get yours very soon too! Then we wait fo it to be shipped to NVC.

I hope someone can guide me on what to do now after I get my NOA 2. Step by step. I am unsure of what to do and my fiance will be away for a month so I will have to deal with it alone and then get him to send me the necessary forms and documents.

Quick Question,

On the applicant statement, it says to check if either he will be going alone, or with someone (children). There are no children but I do plan on attending with him. Am I allowed to? And do we note this on the statement?
