Hello everyone,

Has anybody done or still doing K2 here. I am preparing for my packet 3 and would like to get some input on Form DS-230 for K2. My son is 14 years old (a minor), should I sign the Form DS-230 (Part l) on his behalf or can he sign it himself?. Any input is very much appreciated.

Thank you.

Hey JP and Tee- how did the interview go? Do update us when you have the time! =)

hi everyone,

thought i'd just drop a note and let you wonderful people know that my visa has been approved. I had my interview on Aug 1st, although not without some drama (AOS form was missing a page) but that all didn't matter since I got approved. jest.gifjest.gifjest.gif

Picked up my passport on Aug 2nd at the US Embassy KL, and leaving for the States tomorrow, Aug 6th.

I'll do a proper write-uo about my experience once I'm back Stateside, last day at home so it's a lil crazy around here!

Very excited as I haven't seen my husband for about 3 months! Hopefully POE will be uneventful and we'll soon be reunited. He asked me if he should give me a hug or do a side-hug since my belly is so much bigger than when I left the US in May! I'm due the first week of Oct so we're going to have a lot to do before our firstborn gets here!

Thanks for your help, everyone, and good luck to those still going through this journey. It's been a long wait (we applied Aug 18 2012) but it's so worth it!

did you put a lot in your initial I130 packet? I brought a TON of stuff, but NONE were looked at! The officer only looked at what we sent in last August, with our I130 form! but it's nice to be overprepared than not being prepared :D

that's great news JP and Tee! Hope the flight goes smoothly =)

I'm still waiting, waiting, waiting for my packet to leave NVC for the embassy here - it's so encouraging to see others at the finish of this long journey!

Craymel - when did the embassy schedule your interview? was it only after you sent in your packet 3?
