Ok Can I ask a dumb quesiton?

are you seeking advance parole? if so why are you going thru security checks? do they always perform them?

I applied for AP for my wife, they said it takes 30 to 60 days to get a aproval or anwser so they call it.. It is almost 60 days now. I am about to pushing the issue now.

Could they be denied?

This is not Advanced Parole this is Administrative Processing after the interview for the visa. Before he can get his visa they do security checks and when they are cleared he will get his visa.
