Back with NEWS after 1yr and 8months..

Hi Everyone..

The last time I posted on this site I received tremendous support in terms of encouragement,hope and prayers in spite of a few people who thought I should be "stoned" ..

Am back with very good news for now and will continued hoping and believing for even better things along the way.My post was http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...view=getnewpost

Having been diagnosed with HIV and going thru immigration was my worst fear in this life.My hope of ever achieving my dream in this country faded by the day.

To add salt to injury my "then" hubby decided I was equally worthless( people can change) and treated me like secondhand material.Many things happened and the last straw was when he decided that he can bring another woman in the house while insisting that he would only sign my paperwork on condition that his mistress stays with us..

Anyway many things happened along the way and finally it went physical...to add to psychological,financially and anything anyone can imagine, with the sole aim of kicking me out since he had found himself a jewel...

Finally with my expired visa, ill health, empty pockets I ended up in the streets..

To cut the long story short I was able to send my application under VAWA, Waiver for inadmissibility , employment and adjusting status.

What seemed like total impossibility has began to show a beam of light.

Within a month of application I have received notice for "prima facie" and better still have received Work Authorization....

Thanks to all those that stood by and supported me....

God bless you dear! I am so happy you got through your ordeal. Let the Almightly guide you and release negative thoughts, be happy in your moment and your life will be wonderful. May you future be bright and full of gifts from the Lord.

In this tedious process, we tend to forget that this is all worth it.

I love my hubby beyond anything in this world.
