We were waiting months and months and not even one touch @ USCIS in 6 months! Finally, I contacted my state senator and, lo and behold, our case was touched. I'm sure it had been sitting on a shelf somewhere collecting dust!

Fortunately, just a few weeks after getting the senator's office involved, they processed our I-130...unfortunately, we got an RFE....but it did get things moving along...and two weeks after we fixed the RFE, we got case approval!

I say if it's been more than six months since you submitted the paperwork....get the state senator involved. That will at least put a fire under the USCIS' butt to get things moving.

Thanks so much I feel bad that i waited this long I should of done something sooner, I hope I get an answer from someone soon......
