Does anyone know I-751 approved to green card in hand?

Hi,

First off, thank you everyone for you help throughout this whole process. My wife's I-751 has been approved. We didnt even need a interview (we've since had a child, so i think that answered any questions). Does anyone know how long it takes to get the green card from the time i got the approval letter ???

You may see something like this online:

"Application Type: CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On May 21, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service."

Watch your mail box, takes about ten days after you see this. But takes months or even years to get that approval..

For us, was only a little over three months for my wife to get her EAD card from the day we applied for the AOS, that was good, she can stay here with that and get her probationary SS card she needed then to get her drivers' license, and even a job she wanted. Another three months after that, her conditional. But from the time we applied for the I-751 for her ten year card, that was 17 months and two weeks, that was stressful.
