Man you are too easy to role.

ah aims ta please

Hey I have no problem with it. Just don't go crying to the mods when I throw it back. May even throw it back Aussie style one day, if you know what I mean. ;)

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

why?

You're the one who posted about them, therefore, is basically suggesting a group called the race and the other and I quote, "for colored people", and sayying well Aborginies where treated bad too.

The poor Mexicans must have had it really tough too hey.

no, i was curious..i thought, maybe it was a legal reason...per defin ition based on blood..or heritage history

The Aboriginals were natives of the land, which was conquered. Australia is doing more than enough to assist these guys. If you want to talk about the equivalent you would mention American Indians. The aboriginals treatment was pale in comparison to the treatment of American Indians.

The problem here is that you have two ethnicities who call themselves a 'minorit'y, when they are not, and are basically provided with a get-out-of-jail-free card when it comes to racism and life in general. We have seen it time and time and time again. Someone could post a comment one of these two minorities said that is racist and we'll see the odd post about it with a typical response of, "he doesn't speak for everyone comment". The second someone Caucasians says something about a minority, then it's all over and we get a few hundred pages worth of insults.

I don't endorse racism or someone believing they are superior to another based on race. I do endorse people being able to celebrate and embrace their background. What I loathe is when different rules apply to different people. Equality means everyone being treated equal (the same). Equality means if someone applies for a position, I judge their character and their ability to do the job. Equality means if we are distributing free t-shirts, everyone gets one or two each. Equality is slammed in my face 24/7 in the US. Yet the actions of individuals and the community pushing this suggests otherwise. You cannot have equality when certain groups are allowed to get away with more than others. You cannot have equality when someone applying for a job or college receives an upper hand based on the color of their skin. Prima facie, that is not equal.

thanks brother for the information

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

You'd think that someone in the GOP would be tugging on Tancredo's leash by now. La Raza's a mainstream advocacy group; John McCain was invited to speak there last year or the year before and he did so.

La Raza translates to The Race. All you have to do is say that and the GOP core base, which today consists largely of racist and bitter rural white people, goes into a frenzy. It may not win elections, but they gotta win primaries first. It's the inbred hillbillies who show up at primaries.

stereotyping doesn't fit you very well.

This idea of "equality" is a fanciful myth.

You can apply equal standards to job applications, college placements etc (and who receives special funding - and there have always been programs for people of limited means), but the practical reality is that things are not equal.

Legally they are equal in the sense that everyone has the same rights (unless you're gay of course), but practically... in the sense of the available infrastructure (chronic underinvestment in inner city schools for instance) and what opportunities are generally available to people - it totally is not equal.

People love to cry political correctness about these things when the issue is really about simple pragmatism.

Of course people are not equal, in terms of wealth. We don't live under a communist government.

How are they not equal? Everyone has the same opportunity to enter college. Or better yet start their own business. College is not for everyone and there are plenty of other legal business avenues to earn a good income.

I already told you once before, students in the county with the highest household income in the United States have less spent on them than students in one of the poorest counties in the country. So if spending more money per student does not work, then what will. I cannot do the work for them.

People love to cry political correctness about these things when the issue is really about simple pragmatism.

I'm not interested in political correctness. I'm interested in knowing that if I start a group based on race, I won't be targeted for it because I am white. Lets call it: The National Association for the advanced of rich azz La White Raza Aussies. I'm not saying people shouldn't have their silly little groups, but don't come crying the second a Caucasian has nothing better to do either and decides to start a group of their own. Furthermore, identify their group race as the main attribute. Not culture, but race.

Look, I don't expect you or your buds to comprehend this considering regardless of the evidence shown in the past, you will never acknowledge the double standard. So you are either playing dumb or you seriously are so delusional that you don't see the double standard (hypocrisy) in all this.

BY there's not much I can say when you consistently misunderstand the issues and misinterpret the reasoning.

You have a big hardon about race issues in this country, attributing blame to civil rights movements without any more substantive criticism than that you don't like their names.
