I don't think a general list would be necessarily accurate - as bias and inaccuracy often varies with the story being reported.

Wow that's an interesting concept. You could actually have truth without any facts. Could you have facts and be untrue. I suppose--but you said there are factual news outlets. But where are they, whom? And by what measure if truth and facts are not synomymous nor even necessary for the other to exist. Then where can a factual and true report be found. I suppose only in eye-witness testimony. But we all know how untrue eye-witness testimony can be--well then there is video and recording--but those can be manipulated or the angle or quality might be such that the real truth is not known for a lack of facts collected.

My idea is that a 100% factual news outlet does not exist. That all media is corrupted by some means (political bias, bad journalism, technical difficulty, or bad luck).

It is called sarcasm. It can be found in sarcasm 101 which should have been handed out alongside Comprehension 101.

I didn`t make the statement. I forget what the original statement was to be honest. I have however expressed my views on media and media truth and not just in this thread. I simply noticed the attempt to gang up on a rhetorical question(imo) and make a big deal out of it when it was it seemed rhetorical.

I will defend views that i agree with but i didn`t make the statement so they are not my views.

Well it has been said that we live in a time of 'relative' truths.

As you say, all media is corrupt to some degree - but that's not to say that it has no value.
