I prefer using English than Vietnamese because it is not accurate to translate English into Vietnamese. A CO can not understand completely the meanings in Vietnamese which may cause misunderstanding. Anybody has experience this?

Thanks.

There are Vietnamese translators there as well. It is best if the fiance(e) can speak English well enough to not utilize the translator.

Preparation is the key to a successful interview. It is up to the person being interviewed to communicate clearly and completely.

We've had 4 successful interviews at HCMC this week among the VJ members. Take advantage of all the people going before you to prepare yourselves for the entire process.

All the hard work is worth it when the PINK paper is delivered.

My wife did her interview in Vietnamese so there wouldn't be any confusion during the interview, but she understands English well enough she could hear if the Translator was BSing or not. She can speak English but I did not want her to be nervous and stumble trying to find the words to answer the CO questions. In the end she got the pink paper speak Vietnamese so I think you can't go wrong either way but that's just my opinion.
