Congrats and have a wonderful life together :)

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Thank you everyone.. We are very very happy that I passed my interview yesterday, in fact he will be coming here in the Philippines this coming Saturday,,hee..hee..hee..

Anyways, I am sorry that I did not post yet my interview experienced yesterday, I am very exhausted because I just had my medical the day before and I am went to my interview at 5:30 am,and many weeks before that, I did not have a good rest due to stress also for my culture results, (so those who are waiting for there culture results, especially those that have the history of tuberculosi, don't worry co'z its negative, I keep on bugging my doctor about that and he is also very patient on telling me every now and then that it's all right, its just the culture length of time kills  us to wait,to those who also passed especially too 7 weeks, its negative and start preparing yourself to the interview, its just 5 % I think possible or less to make it positive, because the bacteria of tuberculosis will not grow in just a span of one week, if there is, it already been seen before you reached that week ) Its my doctor's words not me...heee.heee..heee

So regarding my interview, here it is..

I got there in the US Embassy at 5:30 sharp, there are a lot of people already lining there, who comes first will be given the chance to get inside the embassy first too  , When I get inside the embassy, the guard asked me what time my interview was, and told me where to sit, and then later one girl officer there one by one asked our DS - 156 (two copies) DS - 157 (one copy) and the DS - 156K ( its just one because in the instructions, we will just bring one ).. I suggest to fill it out before you go to your interview to avoid hassles :) Then she called us to fall in line to a counter where I get my number.. The waiting starts, I just sat and talked to somebody while waiting for my name to be called for a finger scanning,(cut your nails so you won't get shy when there is black stuffs inserting inside it,,hee..hee..hee..I saw some, anyways, she is old I think it's a little tolerable, :D ) After which, I was told to go and sit again and wait for my number for a preliminary interview. When my number was called, I go to the counter where my number was,

This what happen,,

I get to that counter and pulled out my three different folders, the first folder comprises cenomar, birth certificate, NBI, our original copy of

I -129F and photocopy, our letter of confirmation from the US Embassy, NVC, our NO1,and NO2, I made photocopy for those too,the second folder has our personal relationships evidence, his first trip here includes the hotel reservation, his plane ticket, our receipts on some of our different trips here as well as his second trip, some pictures I put it in a scrap book which looks really in love, hee..hee..hee.. , our cards, letters, and western union receipts, his original receipts and mine. And the third folder has his affidavit of support ( the 2008 pay stubs, federal income tax return/1040, company letter original and photocopy, the state income tax, original and photocopy, and the IRS photocopy and originals. I get the first folder on my hand and open it ready before the pre-screener starts to ask questions, this I think helps because he it shows that I am really interested to pass the interview and that I am real to my fiance,

Questions :

About him

1. Where do we meet?online

2. How old is he? 31

3. Did he marry before? No

4. And asked for our pictures together,

About me

1. Did I marry before? No

2. Have kids? No

3. How old am I? 27 and that's it, I kind of waiting for another question but he told me, "ok mam, you can sit now and wait for your number again to plash in the screen for you final interview". Its very quick, I don't think it reaches three minutes interviewd, but I am happy because its how easy it is for me.e "

Final Interview :

Questions about him

1. Is he married before? again NO

2. How old is he? again 31 turning actually 32 tomorrow or today May 29, and the consular says, "Yes, I see it here, and smiled at me "

3. Where do we meet? On line, this time I give the exact site, MyforegnBride.com,

4. What he do for a living? He is a Software Developer Engineer at Cgnacom Solutions which is a subsidiary of Entrust company

5. How many brothers and sisters he have? I said, just one sister because the are just two of them, the consul I think is just testing me,,hee.hee..hee.. well it didn't work, lol..

6. Is his parents still alive? Yes, he did not asked me any more for their names, but make sure you guys know their names in case they will ask you yours,it depends on the mood I think of the consul,, lol

About me

1. Did I've been married before? No

2. How old am I? 27

3. Have kids? No

4. When was the last time we saw each other in person? January 2. 2009

5. Did he come after that? No, because its was if you remember the last time I saw him in person, but I did not tell him that because I know he is just testing me, hee..hee..hee..,, ridiculous but it is how it is..

And then told me, "well, I don't have any questions for you, sit again outside and wait for your name to be called again, I was waiting for my pink slip,,hee..hee..hee.. I did not know that it is not the consul will give me that, its the windows 38,,hee..hee..

BUT, before I go, I told him, "can I asked a question?he said yes, can I just pick my visa personally, and he said, says, I can actually give you a card which will inform the window 38 that I will pick it up myself, and he told me to just put my contact number so they will inform me if my visa is ready, heee..hee..hee..very nice attitude of the consul although I know that he is also exhausted due to those people before me, :(

My name was called in the Air21 and I told them that I will pick it up personally..

My name called again in windows 38, and told me, to put my contact number at the back of the half piece of the card and instructed me to wait for their information about my visa, I asked him,," can I not have a pick slip? because I already passed my interview? heee..hee..hee.. He told me, mam, you will not received a pink slip because you are going to pick it up yourself, we are just giving pink slip if you will let the Air21 to deliver it to your address,,heee..hee..hee.. I did not told him that I just want to hold a pink slip,,hee..hee..hee..lol

So now, I am waiting for my visa, I will take this opportunity to ask,, Is someone here experienced to pick it up? how many days will it takes?hope for some answers, thank you so much in advance.. :)

By, the way these are those forms that the pre-screener get from me..

on the first folder, just my CENOMAR, Birth certificate, NBI, and shows my pictures

on the second folder, our evidence of relationships, NOTHING

on the third folder, he just asked my affidavit of support, the 1040 or the federal income tax, company letter, he give me back the original and one pay stubs, the IRS, and the state income tax he did not ask me that, I think its because my fiance earns a lot and he is currently having his job this time.. :)

I am sorry because this is very long, I just want people will learned something from my experienced especially those who really asked for this,,hee..hee.. thank you so much for reading and good luck to every one that their interview is fast approaching,, God is good and it is very easy, its tiring more in the medical than in the interview, especially us that needs to wait for two months for our culture results, kind of really knocking me out my case, because I have to have my medical on wednesday and have my interview early next day, but I am very happy because it's all worthy it!

God bless you all :)

P. S.

please understand my grammar and some spelling here because I still have the bruises of tiredness from yesterday and those past weeks..
