well, if you read the whole article, they say a bunch of people complained and they say it was because of the size of the flag.. although the lady says she wasn't told it was because of the size...

so size really does matter.

It amazes me how people can get "offended" by the most ridiculous of things.

It's not ridiculous. The immigrant boss has no respect for the flag and what it stands for.

Well... there's no law against being an a$$hole.

Luckily for me :P

Deport the #######. He has absolutely no right to be here IMO. And I hope the lady would go and get an even bigger flag to put up.

We need to start showing pride again in this great country. If it offends you-----GET OUTA HERE AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

This is rediculas.

When McLucas came to work Friday, her boss told her another supervisor had found her flag offensive. "I was just totally speechless. I was like, 'You're kidding me,'" McLucas said.

Did he say it was offensive or not???, the size thing seems like a after thought to me. Cowards, if you have a problem stand up and say it. It seems there was other complaints about it too, from patients. Its sickening but good to know that the flag is back up where it belongs.

It amazes me you think this is ridiculous, might I add this was put up right before memorial weekend.

When McLucas came to work Friday, her boss told her another supervisor had found her flag offensive. "I was just totally speechless. I was like, 'You're kidding me,'" McLucas said.

...

McLucas said the supervisor who complained has been in the United States for 14 years and is formerly from Africa. McLucas said that supervisor took down the flag herself.

Yes. That is who I was referring to.

oh wait, I misunderstood, its seems you were referring to the guy that got offended by the flag, my bad sorry.

So a flag is safely on the wall of an office. Seriously - who the ** cares!?

Its not sickening. Nor is it offensive. It is however, a complete non-issue.

How dare they put up such a small flag in a fvcking office - don't they know the larger the flag the stronger the patriotism?

3' x 5' just doesn't cut it. It should be at least twice that - we can always pull down those pesky medical wall charts, its not as if the wall space in a hospital should serve any practical purpose.

Just goes to show what happens when the Republicans don't have the 'nads to enforce what is right.

Those uppity immigrants think they have the right to express their opinions by disrecting the flag!

:diablo:

Mad as hell I tell you!

The Republicans should be marching in the streets full force. Protesting acts like these and nominees such as that uppity Sotomayor woman.

LOL... Hey I'm just thinking, a 3 ft x 5 ft flag in our management office would be too big. It's the size of a shoebox and we all share it unfortunately.

Just saying, sometimes things are taken out of context, especially to create compelling stories.

If it was a citizen who wanted it taken down would they have blown the issue out of proportion?

Also you have to remember that some hospitals / companies have regulations on what you can and cannot hang up inside the building and in offices but most hospitals have the American flag hanging outside so you can go do your pledge of allegiance anytime you darn well please.

And well, if the immigrant is anti-American then don't worry I'll send the ugly gremlins after him.

Oh yes, they still exist they are just disguised as Furbies.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
