Thanks everyone for all the suggestions! It obviously seems like the CR-1 is the best option, so I will go that way and find out about the expedited process. I found a phone number for Military members to call and get some answers from the USCIS searching around here. One, more question; She has a tourist visa approved for 10 years and can stay in the US up to 6 months every time she travels and extended it a bit more if needed/approved. Will this visa be canceled once the spousal visa process starts or can she still travel to the US using her tourist visa?

Technically, she can still use her tourist visa- it is not automatically cancelled. Some members on here have reported problems at the border though, so she *might* be turned back, especially if visibly pregnant.

Hey - that's great news.

Now - which Service Center are you 'homed to' ? IF CSC (California ) then you'll have some speed , as they've been faster than VSC (Vermont ) in approving the VISA.

Were you successful in getting a military expedite, btw??

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I don't know yet about the CSC, hope it's the fastest one. About the expedite, we don't have even a warning order yet to go to Afghanistan, so it's not "sure" if we are going or not. Oh and about traveling to the US using the tourist visa while the spousal visa is in process, it is completely fine :D
