I am extremely excited and happy right now... earlier fiance and i couldn't hold it but burst into tears over the phone. He's approved. It was a quick interview at the Seoul Embassy, here is what happened.

Interview was scheduled at 8:30 AM, he arrived infront of the embassy around 8:00 AM and by 8:30 AM they started calling him to submit documents through one window.. then he waits.. then he finger prints... then... he waits for the actual interview. Interview was a total of 3-5 mins long.

Officier asked him: where did you meet your fiance, he brought along his magazine to show that we had met through a work related function & he actually wrote about that event in his magazine with my picture in it. Then, officer asked when we plan to get married, answer was, register at the county clerk office and then plan a reception date thereafter... Then officer asked, do you speak Chinese? he said, no.. we communicate using english. Then officer said, OK... and STAMPED on the paper. I think my fiance was so happy that he jumped up and said THANK YOU (really loudly)... then he walked out and said to the officier, have a nice day !

ahhhh.. then he called me... i was of course nervously holding my cell phone for the past hour and 1/2 ....

Our journey has been a successful one and we are so thankful...... thankful of VJ and friends on VJ for the guidance.

I can't wait to share this news with all of you! <3 ...

3/20/2009: NOA 2 Notice Approval Date

08/17/2009 -- Check clears $1010 USCIS

8/20/2009- Touched ^---^

8/21/2009-- NOA 1 for I-485 and I-765 Hard Copy

08/29/2009-- Received Biometrics Appointment Letter in the mail, dated 08/26

09/03/2009 -- Early Walk In Biometrics Appt (Original Date 09/23)

09/04/2009 -- Touched ^---^

09/29/2009 -- EAD Card Production

10/07/2009 -- EAD Card Received

10/16/2009 AOS I-485 Interview in Los Angeles(APPROVED)

10/28/2009 -- GC in HAND <3

Even though you filed K-1 I looked at your journey as a guide to mine.

I guess I'll be all alone on VJ (Korean style) now since your fiance has his visa now.

March 27, 2010 - Wedding!

April 17, 2010 - I-485, I-765, I-131 sent to Chicago Lockbox

April 26, 2010 - Received NOAs for I-485, I-765, I-131

May 13, 2010 - Transferred to the CSC

May 19, 2010 - Biometrics appointment

June 17th, 18th, 22nd, 23rd & 30th - touches on I-485

June 25th, 2010 - E-mail: EAD approved

June 30th, 2010 - 2nd E-mail for EAD

July 1st, 2010 - Email: RFE being sent for AOS

July 2nd, 2010 - AP received in the mail

July 6th, 2010 - EAD received in the mail
