did you resubmit the whole K-3 package with a new filing fee and all?

no added filing fee for a I-129F for K-3

no don't think so thats why we sent it back

does anyone know how soon after the interview you receive you package, our interview in on the 24 of December this Thursday we were hoping to travel to have new years celebration with my husbands family in florida,

it's not a K-3 anymore once the I-130 has been approved, which is why i asked. USCIS won't even consider the I-129f.

N-400 package delivered: 04/16/2013

NOA1 date: 04/17/2013

Biometrics: 08/23/2013

Interview: 10/07/2013

Oath: 01/23/2014

it's not a K-3 anymore once the I-130 has been approved, which is why i asked. USCIS won't even consider the I-129f.

true but still no added fee even if it ws done properly or improperly for that matter

well if the lawyer misunderstood the process enough to resubmit the I-129f after the I-130 was approved, i wouldn't put it past him to suggest they pay the fee and do the whole thing again so i had to check. they do crazy things sometimes!

well if the lawyer misunderstood the process enough to resubmit the I-129f after the I-130 was approved, i wouldn't put it past him to suggest they pay the fee and do the whole thing again so i had to check. they do crazy things sometimes!

Let me make sure I understand this one too. Since I filed a K3, if the I130 gets approved before or the same time they will have me do a different visa? So therefore I will have to use the I184 not the I 134? Probley good thing I am not a lawyer I am totally misunderstanding the whole process myself. I already got my I134 co sponosr signed and just waiting to be dated and sent when approved.

same time approval allows you to choose your visa path....

Thank you for correcting me. I am just getting confused and a bit nervous. So if I chose to take the K3 then I use the I134 if i take the I 130 I use the I 184?

Yes, but the I-130 is the I-864 not the I-184
