EAD APPROVAL !!!

:dance: We got it!!! Today we got the email confirming our approval. I immediately printed it and took it to the SS office to see if we could get card or at least a # . The young woman who say us was so helpful but no matter what she did she couldnt get the system to accept the info without the ead issue date and end date . So she told us to call her directly when we get the card so my husband can come in directly for her and she will process it(she is actually a patient in my ob/gyn office where I just started working Monday.. and it just so happens that she was late for her appt today we usually close early on Fridays and I was able to get her in not even knowing that she worked for the SS office or that we would even get the approval today and be going there.. coincidence how things work huh.. God works in mysterious ways) . We cannot get the # til the next day after entering the request for ss# into the system though.. so hubby will go back the next day and pick up the printout of the # then while waiting for the card to be mailed. She also checked the system to make sure that there wouldnt be any hang-ups for us.. seems he is in the SAVE system and it shows his approval and everythingso we just need the actual card!

How long has it been taking for the card after approvals????

Congrats! Getting the EAD is exciting. Can't tell you how long it took to get the card because our online status still says they are processesing the EAD--we got the card directly in the mail after 2 months from the receipt date.

Now is a good time to start applying for jobs though. The cvard should be there in the next 2 weeks.

February 17, 2005--mailed in I 129F to CSC!

February 24, 2005--1st NOA

March 15, 2005--2nd NOA

April 11, 2005--Fiance receives Packet 3

May 19, 2005 Fax Checklist(Nigeria police report finally arrives)

June 6, 2005-- Interview Date!!!!Visa approved!!

June 18, 2005--Fiancee arrives in Hawaii!

August 14, 2005--wedding in Oregon

September 12, 2005--sent in AOS

September 20, 2005--1st NOA AOS

September 23, 2005--Walk-in biometrics completed

October 1, 2005--fingerprints received/processing resumed

November 26, 2005--EAD card received in mail

June 7, 2006--contact senators about AOS

June 28, 2006--senator says interview date is for August 14!!

August 14, 2006--AOS interview and 1 year wedding anniversary

Malcon got his card in less than a week. I think it partially depends on where you live in connection with your local office. Congrats!

Met on internet 6/04. Married at court house in Aba, Nigeria 12/04. 3/05 traditional ceremony in Nigeria w/ my picture. 12/05 finally together again. 4/06 ceremony/celebration in the states together

We went the very next day to apply for the card and the information was not in the system, but we got the card in less than 3 weeks.

7/20/05 - Visa received in the mail

9/13/05 - Arrival to Texas FINALLY!!!

12/2/05 - Wedding

1/25/06 - AOS/EAD sent

1/26/06 - AOS/EAD received at USCIS

02/4/06 - NOA received for EAD

02/6/06 - NOA received for AOS

02/7/06 - ASC appt notice rcv'd

03/2/06 - Biometrics appt.

05/15/06 - AOS Approval (stamp in passport)

05/23/06 - Received Welcome letter

05/26/06 - Green Card arrived in mail yaaaahhooooo

08/10/06 - Hubby 1st job in US

05/15/08 - ??? what next

The last post date for uscis was 06/20 and they were processing apps w/ noa dates of 04-16 so I am sure you will be this week girl.. let me know what happens!
