It was indeed very sunny. I was lucky enough to wait outside for my wife most of the time.

Big Congrats from me and my wife. Good jod Dai. More pink to come for our VJ family... :dance::thumbs::whistle:

Reading your post from outside the Consulate made me feel like I am watching a much drama, suspenseful movie :) ... Pink at last and Congratulations !!!

I used to be indecisive. Now I am just not sure ...

Thanks all for the warm congrats.. I know for people who have passed the feeling is wonderful and grand. I told my wife I hope this isn't a dream cause it could seem like it is. So happy that she finally gets to start a new home with me in Texas where we will start looking for new houses pretty soon and continue out beautiful relationship together. There is more I want to say about the interview but man, the happyness is not letting me describe more details of our success.

One big factor my wife brought up which she think is a big contributor to our success is that we are both are catholic and we had So Gia Dinh Cong Giao (Family Book for Catholics in Vietnam). I forgot to mention one of the questions they asked her was did you both have lessons on preparing for marriage through the catholic church? (if you are catholic you will know about this course before you get married in the church) My wife was suprised they asked that but she answered that we both did complete the course. My wife thinks that if you bring these elements to the interview you are most likely going to pass because she thinks no fraud case can come up with that book and actually have the church acknowledge the marriage. It think my wife could be partly right, I think it was many factors but also I think, for that reason, it sure did help our case. Good Luck too all who have upcoming interviews. As the excitement settles down for my wife and I, I will try to add more input about our interview in this Thread.

I'm not saying everyone has to get one or get married in a church, I'm just saying that my wife thinks, for our case, it helped us get the pink. She thinks it was a big factor for our success that's all.
