I remember when they stopped Saturday mail delivery in Canada. I also remember when they delivered the mail twice a day - morning and afternoon!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

I was trying to find out when they stopped it in Canada. Apparently they stopped it in the US in 1950 which is before I was born, but I do remember as a child waiting for the mail man to come in the morning and again in the afternoon while we still lived in the Montreal area.

English is the third most spoken language in the world. Mandarin Chinese is first.

What's the second?

King Arthur's sword was Excalibur. Sir Lancelot's sword was Arondight.

Does it count if it's based on myth alone?

The white wedding dress only became popular in the mid-19th century.

Oh! I knew that one, blue was the color for pure in medieval times and was the usual main color on a wedding gown.

The blood of spiders is transparent.

Ok, now this is interesting.

Over 2500 left handed people a year are killed from using products made for right handed people

 Gotta let my left handed husband aware of this!

The sentence "The quick brown fox jumps over a lazy dog." uses every letter of the alphabet

That is neat!
