Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Well, we certainly are a far less formal society than we once were. I'm not saying it is worse or better...just different. I feel sorry people my parent's age when they go out in public because people will openly swear in public without any regard for who is around them...even small children.

Things just ain't the way they used to be, Steven.

Yep. My parents were sitting having lunch at restaurant one time and my Dad said he had to ask a group of young women to stop swearing (he's 81). The girls told the old man where to go so he and my Mom asked the waiter to move them away from their booth. He was in the Navy back in the 50's so he's heard it all, but it's still upsetting to hear it spoken everywhere.

I have a rather dirty mouth and it feels good to cuss sometimes. But, I think it is very unprofessional to cuss at work. Do I do it? sometimes. although I really do try not to.

Now, if some guy came in and told me to say "brother trucker" or "cheese n crackers" or some other lame @ss thing like that.... I think I would spit coke out of my nose laughing in his face!

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

I don't curse in respectful situations, I do cuss horribly with my husband, or friends, or brothers. I avoid doing it in front of my father, although he cusses a lot.

IO agree with sister Lisa. I don't curse at work at all. But out and about, yup. Don't like it? kindly take the next left and go ** yourself. This sanctimonious high horse hollier than thou attitude is very Victorian, and absolutely laughable.

Not sure which "this" you're referring to, but I definitely don't see it in this thread. Unless you're referring to your own post, of course. :hehe:

I was referring to anyone who goes on a high horse about people who curse (in non-professional situations, mind you) hermana. "Oh Dear God, so and so said #######! -- bad bad person".. I guess for me, the value of a person is in their actions - their loyalty, compassion, undersatanding, etc-, not in whether they/we say "oh ** it" one too many times.
