Chipolino,

hi 3bvsla

for good faith marrige i send:

1- joint bank account

2- about 6 photos of me and my ex wife, some of them from wedding ceremony

3- my own declaration

4-some friends declaration

i think thats it. but i really couldn't tell my friends or someone else about what happend to me during my marriage. it's just shame for me you know... i'm afraid people will just laugh at me...it's kind a cultural barrier...but i don't know if someone can fully describe his family life with other person, i don't know for me it's unusual...

Well, I don't know if this is going to help you, but I didn't receive any letter from immigration after 13 months later when I filed my case and that's MY FIRST and the ONLY PRIMA FACIE LETTER I have and it doesn't say anything about request an extension, only that they would make a decision in my case the next 150 days. By the way, that letter is already expired and i'm still here JUST WAITING.............

I don't understand your question. What did you mean with "I didn't go home"?. I have 85 days left until they take a decision on my case. I haven't requested an extension of prima facie because in that letter doesn't say that I could do it. Since it's the first one that I got I didn't even know that some people got prima facies and could request a renewal ... I just gotta wait I guess...until that time frame ends> If I haven't received anything at that time, I will request an explanation.... at least that was what laywer said to me this week. B)

Hi Chipolino, I have heard too many time frames and they're ALL DIFFERENT. Some people's cases got approved between 12 and 15 months since they filed I-360 (I would say that's the average). I also read a story from a lady who got approved in less than 6 months. Some people got prima facie just few weeks later they filed, others (like me) heard from VSC for the first time looooooong time after we filed.... What I mean is THERE IS NO WAY TO UNDERSTAND immigration processes/times/systems. Someone also said that got green card in the mail and still online case status is pending.........We just don't know ... they're completely unpredictable... I think the only tool that all of us have is FAITH that someday we'll receive an answer. In the meantime, forget about vawa, try to live your life as normal as you can and don't stressed out... EASY TO SAY, RIGHT? Well... I've been waiting 16 months now and that recommened therapy DID NOT WORK for me at all. I worry every single day since I filed, I checked my online case status twice daily and still wait for the mailman to come and look for any letter from them. I will keep you posted if something new happens...

This comment is really out of line. While a prima facie determination on an I-360 is not an outright approval, it is the result of a review and a determination that on its face the alien appears eligible. Why on earth would an alien that is eligible to seek relief in such a manner feel obliged to "go home"?

That's because some people are ignorant and comment on things they don't know about just for the heck of it, obviously this person have no clue what a prima facie is.
