i checked the case status online and they requested evidence on the 21st of this months, but i havn't recieved the letter yet :crying: i am so worry that it got lost in mail . can someone tell me please how long they usualy give us to respond to the RFE? 15 or 30 days? and what if it got lost in mail! is there a way to get a copy before they deny my case

Oh gesh, USCIS strikes again. Give it till Monday the latest to received. They mailed mine on May 12, I got it on the 16th, they emailed me on the 14th 2 days AFTER they mailed the RFE after I called 4 times to tell them I never go the darn thing when they originally issued it May 5th.

So my RFE dated May 12, they gave me till June 11th to get the evidence back to them.

One last thing, when you send back the evidence, write all over envelpe RFE Evidence Enclosed, maybe someone with a brain in mail room will ope it and route it to the officer who issued the RFE. Good luck, I know exactly what your feeling now, and its stinks. Best wishes.

30 days, My RFE was dated May 12, I was given till June 11th.

Im sure its a very minor issue. It will be okay, you will see. One tip, when you send back the evidence send it via courrier, UPS, or DHL, so you get a signature, and use the physical address of where your petition is at, also mark big on envelope, RFE EVIDENCE ENCLOSED. Maybe they will get it to the officer who issued RFE a bit quicker then just sitting in the mail room. Good luck, it will be fine.

thank you guys i appreciate it alot, actualy this i-129f is not the one listed below in my timeline, i filed i-130 along with i-129f back in jan-07 and the i-130 was denied at the local office in 0ct-07 for lack of evidence,so i filed new i-130 and i-129f in july of 2008 and now out of the blue they sent me this RFE for the first i-129f i dont know how and why but this is what hapened

hey don't worry I got that letter yesterday may 26, it was mailed out may 21, and the letter said I have until June 23 to mail the evidence, so i think it must be a month....I already mailed what they asked for....good luck to you
