so tracy has arrived safe and sound and is already tending to chas' needs!! :lol: but not the needs you're thinking (get out of the gutter!). here's a little blurb from the email she sent me:

My poor fiance hurt himself. He cut his fingers with electric hedge trimmers! Actually he is lucky to not have lost the finger tips (its his middle and ring finger, left hand). The dr. said all that saved them was the garden gloves he had on.

He told me this last night when I was in Chicago. Of course he and his mum went to the ER (actually they got to the end of their road and came across an ambulance who dressed it good and then sent him to ER.

Anyway, we have to take him back to a specialist tomorrow at 8 am to have them seen about. He may need a general anesthetic to repair the damage (depends on how it looks to them) so obviously I will be babying him tomorrow all day. It has just made me sick to my stomach, bless his heart. I sat there in O'hare and cried. But he is ok, just cursing himself for being 'clumsy'.

she won't be around for the next day or two ... wonder why (sex05.gif) , but i'm just happy to know that she's there safe and sound!

Hello all! I feel like a plonker for not checking in before now (can't imagine why :whistle: but as Monique told ya, its been a bit hectic here! Chas is ok, just a bit worse for the wear, and needing a slight bit of babying (although he's coping VERY well for the most part).

I'm going to call my boss today and see if I can't squeak out an extra day or two here since we feel we 'lost' a few days with being in the freaking hospital (don't even make me go there about National Health). So maybe a Saturday departure instead of (next) Thursday - at least, here's hoping! :)

Its raining this morning but still a bit sticky. Here's hoping the HOT weather is gone (yes I am dying w/out air conditioning, LOL!!!). Tonight we are going to see Les Mis on West End with his mum. Friday is the day out in London (if the rain stops by then)!

Oh and in case you wondered - yes, we're still sickningly in love. (L):);)

Thanks to all for your concern. I screwed my hand up real good. What makes it worse is I am a guitarist..... I mean WAS a guitarist. We will have to wait and see.
