Did you have to send down another copy of your birth certificate or did it come with the packet sent from USCIS to NVC?

Visajourney.com recommends that you make a copy of the packet you sent to USCIS. That seems to me to be rather redundant if the packet is sent to NVC and Rio. But I have heard that you might need to. I am going to Brazil next week and want to bring any paperwork with me that she will need at her interview. The question is....Will she need another copy of my BC again or will they just use the one I sent in the origial packet to USCIS?

the purpose of the duplicate packet is for incase USCIS looses your file and you don't have to start from the beginging and it's for you and or your fiancee to reference back to it... BC is not needed during the interview process. but your fiancee will need to bring hers. if her BC is not in English then she will need to get it translated into English...
