nope my approval letter states 30 days! and I did not take it personal but it seemed like other people on here (incl me) were a little shocked that you were raining on our parade here a little and basically making ppl feel put down about what they were writing. I do agree that calling congress men might be a little too much but we all have our reasons for wanting our cards asap. I always patient about things most ppl get into a hissy fit about (standing in line at the grocery store etc) but for personal/consular reasons i need the card asap. EDIT: just the stamp is not enough

Yeah you guys are ridiculous. Can you tell us what your card is gonna do for you that the stamp can't do? I am really surprised. Good job on waiting in line at the grocery store by the way!

not that its any of ur business but i happen to have dual citizenship and have to cancel my residency in one of my countries and in order to do that i need the card...they willnot accept the stamp (for whatever reason)....from now on ASK about stuff before making yourself look like an ignorant fool

Ok gotcha :) I don't look like a fool though :) But I am sure that canceling your former citizenship can wait a little more, unless you are running away...that's all what my point was, this is not VITAL for you to have it tomorrow, but more like you really really really want it to get it done.

Kinito_2K3 - if you have anything informative to share about card production delays, you are more than welcome to share it, otherwise please don't offend people on this thread. No one likes to be called 'Ridiculous' , I am sure you won't ???

There is nothing informative to share about that, it's only speculations - my point was that nobody as a vital need of this card that the stamp can not achieve, so stop wining.

Who are you to judge that "nobody has a vital need of this card" ??? so I suggest you stop being judgemental and be civil about your attitude here.

Nobody is judging here, check out the definition of that word. You are quoting selective information which leads to out of context interpretation, my sentence is "nobody as a vital need of this card that the stamp can not achieve". Am I correct or does the stamp not hold the same legal evidence as the card?

PS: To clarify, by "card" you should understand the physical piece of plastic.

THAT is exactly what I mean...you don't ASK or READ. I said cancel RESIDENCY not citicenship. and this has to be done within 30 days of aquiring residency eslewhere
