Here is the answer. They are changing the location that is why it takes time to print GCs.

I guess, now it makes sense. All the GC productions unfortunately will be delayed.

Why cannot they just give an official announcement? I think the reasons are following:

1) there is no need for one since cards will be produced and mailed within 30 days

2) erm...any other reason I can think of seems highly unprofessional taking in consideration they did not inform public about the delay and we have to find out things from some lawyers and people who just happened to be in the office...

Well, I have 8 more days to wait, and will be patient, but now I am also thinking ... involving congressmen is not such a bad idea after all.

I guess rather than calling to inquire about the delay, an InfoPass MIGHT result in a stamp in the passport, given the delays in the card production process. I'm afraid if I call (on June 1st), the operators would simply initiate a request for service, for USCIS to answer to in 45 days, right?

yeah June 7 here. honestly guys, before the 30 days are up there is no need to panic anyways because USCIS won't show us any pity at all! after that i will, too, call them up etc. I'm just thinkingg that until our 30 days are up all we can do is wait and complaining will just make us even more restless and anxious....now I wish I could follow my advice 24/7 lol I have vowed to give myself 5 mins of complaining a day and that's it lol

let's pray that it's in our mailboxes within the next few days.
