what operating system do you have? on windows XP, you can uninstall by going to Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs . . . if it is on your list of currently installed programs, then click on the program name and then the "remove" button.

Usually, you can uninstall from the folder that was added when the software was first installed. Lots of times the software does add in the ability to uninstall. But if that option is not available, the above instructions should work. Also, I think that works on other versions of windows, but if you have the latest version . . . then you probably have XP.

Oh, and I think I had that same stupid software and got rid of it, too.

What's the program called?

OK, I guess I didn't read the original post carefully. If the program you're trying to get rid of is BlockChecker itself, then I'd suggest AdAware by Lavasoft.

You can download a free version for personal use from this website: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/

After a quick google search, apparently Blockchecker is a program that supposedly tells you which contacts on your instant messengers have you blocked. But like most similar programs, it's just nasty adware that will copy all kinds of files to your harddrive and registry. If you're not sure how to delete registry keys, I suggest using AdAware. It'll delete every trace of the nasty programs for ya. Make sure once you download it, to update the definitions and perform a full scan. Good luck.

Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Services .....

Search for that silly thing ... right click on it ... propreties ... and disable

But im thinking is better if you can make a print screen ... and put it on here before
