Hi All,

I have been seeing a lot of members in this forum whose case history shows the application had been "touched" on certain dates.

I have been checking the status of my I-130 prtition, online, for my wife daily for two months, I have never seen word, "touched" , showing up as the status.

Here are the links I use to check the staust of my petition and I have signed on for email notification if there is any change occurred in my case.

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/caseStatusSearchDisplay.do

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/login.jsp

Is there another web page to get a more accurate and detailed status of the case?

Thanks.

Sampan

Check the date on which the file was last updated. If the date is changed, and a newer date is there, you've got yourself a touch.

To each is a goal to which God turns him; then strive together (as in a race) Towards all that is good.

Wheresoever ye are, God will bring you Together. For God Hath power over all things.

(Quran, Chapter 2: verse 148)

On one of those links you'll see to the left side a place that says "LOGIN". I followed that route. You can create a login name and password, and it'll email you if there are any updates/touches (mine never did though, I just kept checking online). At one point I saw one thing that said "update" and that was obviously a touch. Try that out and see if it works for you. All I know is USCIS is VERY slow! A friend of mine was actually completed & approved at USCIS, just finished her CR1 interview in Montreal, and has not yet received her NOA2!!! So don't rely too much on it :) Good luck!
