Neo-Citrin= What is the "American Equivalent"?

Hi Everyone,

Again, thanks for your responses and replies to my message thread here about "Neo-Citrin", which were very helpful indeed!

Here is another update on my situation here: My husband tried the "generic American equivalent" of Neo-Citrin for about two days or so. The second day, to add "flavour" to his drink, he decided to put some oregano spice in it (lol..neocitrin+oregano=unusual food combination). It did work somewhat, as it did make his symptoms 50% better or so, along with lots of rest and liquids. However, yesterday his symptoms got worse, so we ended up going to the emergency room. At the emergency room, they prescribed him some more antibiotics and additional medications. As well, they found out that he had Bronchitis, which was more severe than what we originally thought of as being a simple cough/cold. So we'll see what happens in the next few days, and hopefully he will get better then.

As well, at the phramacy, I picked up some after-bite bug bite cream (the kids'/children's version), which I hope will help with my mosquito bites too. Surprisingly, the main active ingredients are: sodium bicarbonate (aka baking soda), tea tree oil, and vitamin e, which should be ok for me to use while pregnant. I'll see how that works too and hope that would help the situation on my end.

Meanwhile, I hope too that the both of us get better soon, as we have to attend a non-local infopass appointment next week to "get to the bottom my case", as my 10yr green card has been delayed (for the last 10 months or so). Read here for more info about my infopass: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=199679

Oh boy, and then it's off to Canada after that....(to stock up on neo-citrin, and to borrow $670 for Citizenship)

Uggh....between the bronchitis, bug-bites, and baby/pregnancy, and everything else in between.....It should make for a very interesting infopass appointment and Canadian trip next week....911 anyone? Will we make it back home alive?....

I was just wondering what other countries neo citran is available in. I find it kind of strange that I discovered it here in Austria, which at the time was great, better than anything you could buy in England, and I thought it was only available here in Austria until I saw this thread about it being available in Canada it just made me wonder where else we can get it, I have take use Thera flu in the US but it's not nearly as good.

That's interesting that it's available in Austria. It's a Canadian product.
