Passport photo questions for AOS

Hi all,

I am currently in the process of submitting my wife's application for AOS/EAD/AP. For these applications, 6 passport style photos are required. My wife had printed lot of passport photos for her K1 interview and want to use those instead of taking new ones.

I did a quick search and it appeared that USCIS is not very strict on the "30 days rule" for the passport photos. However, since this photo is the exact same one as appeared on her K1 visa, is it still okay/safe to use them for her AOS/EAD/AP applications?

As always, it is best to follow the USCIS instructions to the letter -- no short cuts. Somewhere along the winding road to approval, the duplication in photos may be caught and you will be asked to provide recent ones. Or, it might not get caught. Your choice. It costs only ten bucks or so to satisfy the regulations.

You dont wanna make your 'timelines' longer in case they ask for new photo. Go to CVS it costs about $7-8 (post office is always more expensive and line is usumally longer)

Hi all,

I took passport type pictures last night at CVS and it cost me $7,99 per set ( one set comes with 8 pictures).
