Blame those who devised the test. It sucks, sure, but if the test is flawed, it's flawed no matter that some nice dyslexic guy got a good grade.

It's only "flawed" if one accepts the position that Minorities are handicapped by their race and not able to compete

on standard written tests which require "book learn'in".

Look again, I am not making one claim or another about the validity of the test. I have simply made two observations, one, it is reasonable, no, it would be unreasonable not to question a test that produced results that appear to favour one race over another. The other is, if the test is flawed then none of the results are relevant, no matter how nice some of those who took the test were.

Some Battery test are very very very Weird, the way it's structure and and so on.

I was on the Dean List back when i was doing my undergrad, I used to be a Math Tutor from Beginning algebra to Calculus all the way to Differential equation, yet on a summer internship I took one of those Telephone Technician Extrance exams, back at one of the Phone company office on 42nd street overlooking the national Debt, I still can remember it like it was yesterday, I flunk, while most of my students mostly white passed, In this case the test had nothing to do with academic background, I still can recall it,

Very Short time to look at a series of black line, blue line crossings and you have to pick between A, B or C

Only after you passed this test you'll be able to move up to the technical entrance exams.

Still wondering how come it's mostly Whites and a couple of asian and hispanic who made it all the way through?

I thought the new Orthodoxy was "race" does not even exist, it is a social construct.

We have yet to devise tests that are full proof. I'm curious what the questions were on the test these fireman took. I wonder if someone has made it available online?
