It's not Memorial day in N.K.

They popped off a nuke (still subject to verification), and launched two ballistic missiles for test flights.

They did it, so they say, to get the US to talk to them. Or something to that effect.

They are also mad now that S.K. is joining in on stopping ships at sea, looking for WMD. N.K. says that is a declaration of war...

the plot thickens...

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

I just ha a really weird thought. Would obesity be one of the exclusions these days" If there was conscription, and it was an exclusion criteria, I wonder how many people would get out of service because of it?

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Of course not, but that doesn't mean they are unaware of the significance of the day for us.

What I heard on this subject is that Kim Jong Il is not very popular in North Korea and soon to kick the bucket that well may be the solution. This nuke thing is to get attention or otherwise, North Korea would be ignored. Using it to get food into his country, like blackmail. What was most disturbing to me is that countries like Russia and China are supporting him, can forget about Russia, but certainly not China as we have a huge trade deficit with them. So indirectly, our bucks are supporting Kim.

The country most in danger is Japan, seems like they should be screaming the most, some experts feel the North Korea could set off WW III with an all out nuclear attack. The people in North Korea are suffering the most, just a handful of crazy leaders again. South Korea is also at risk. North Korea is also selling their technology to the middle east, more problems for us.

China prevented us from resolving the problem between North and South Korea in the early 50's, this problem is getting to be over 60 years old without a solution. But Japan took over our electronics industry, South Korea our ship building industry, and China, just about everything else, what in the hell are our leaders doing with this globilization #######?

Clinton's illegal campaign contributions from China was never investigated and under Bush our China imports have increased more than a factor of four, these two guys sold out our country. The EPA and OSHA started by Nixson, and augmented under Carter, Reagan, and the first Bush, didn't help our industries, but rather drove them out of the country drastically augmented by Clinton and Bush to really put us in bad shape right now. Surprised we lasted this long. Question is, what is Obama going to do about it? Sell us out even more? We had 40 years of this BS from Washington and when they say they are patriotic, it's a load of #######.

And history has shown time and time again, these cheap imports are costing us dearly in financing these small dictators that come out against us, so we also lose our young with these useless wars. And if Americans can't afford to buy this #######, they all go under.

There are calls for Japan to amend their constitution to allow them to gain nuclear weapons. The idea is this will force China to cut off N. Korea. For the record I think this is a very bad idea.

Hmm, I actually kind of like the idea of a nuclear Japan. China is getting too powerful in that region and needs a reality check.
