The Sun is brighter I heard. And the air fresher.

And everyone has a solid gold toilet with an ivory seat and cistern full of Chanel #5.

And the women all have perky tits, even when they're 90. And all the men are hung like Eric, except for a few (who get deported to the US and haunt VJ till the end of time).

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

Ah, that must be from all of those visits you made there.

After all someone from the ghettos of London who migrates straight to the ghettos of the US probably has a good idea about the world. No?

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Jersey isnt a city...

It might as well be (well, most of it).

I love the I'm from Jersey ###### attitude. In other words you cannot afford NYC.

Just when I think that BY can't appear any more stupid or ridiculous - he drops yet another clanger to show just how much deeper the pit extends.

He forms these sweeping judgements of entire geographic regions based on "something I saw on TV".

Amazing.

And I have no particular attachment to NJ either - but even at a cursory glance it should stand to reason that judging the entire State by Newark standards is not a little unfair (to say nothing of inaccurate).

You are correct. Unfortunately when it's the 20th show you see, with the same theme, you do have to wonder.

In all fairness Jersey doesn't look that bad in most other parts of the state. It's just the attitude and demographic of certain areas that is the big problem.

There are a hell of a lot of people from Jersey moving down here.

Well you are a decidedly unimaginative guy BY, so I doubt its something you put much thought into.

I put thought into everything. Even the tooth paste I buy. That is how and why I know what I am talking about. I don't just pull it out of my azz. But I am open to new evidence and do change my views accordingly, if the need arises. What I don't change is my principles but definitely my views. No engineer has static views as it goes against the premise of engineering.

Hence why I have not won any fans with my view on the ambiguity of the constitution.

Umm.... you just admitted you make judgements about entire geographic regions (and the people who live there) based on stuff you saw on TV.

That's not exactly the mark of the open-minded. Nor is it reasoned.
