Our case showed up online for the first time today. It still says "received and pending", but at least something is happening! We contacted our congresswoman this week, but I don't know if her caseworker has inquired yet. We had also put in a request with USCIS last week that our case be finally put in the online system. So maybe it's just that... but I've heard of people whose case was approved shortly after it showed up online. Maybe there is some hope...

I was right. I called my senator rep back today to inquire about him telling me my petition will be processed within the next 30 days. I asked him if they just sent a response to him that I was still within my 6 month processing time. He said yes (So he did change it around to make it sound better). I then asked him did he really email him. He said that he did and said that alot of times when he has made a inquiry before even though they send that generic response back it gets them to process the petition. So, I dont know guys. We shall see...

Well, we seem to be getting an RFE... Our congresswoman's caseworker got told by USCIS that an RFE "was ordered but not sent" because they may have found what they are looking for, but my fiancé called USCIS afterwards, and was told an RFE was sent five days ago. Online system doesn't show the RFE. Weird they are giving out this conflicting information... Anyway, we hope to receive a letter by Friday. Very curious what that RFE might be for... It sucks, as that will add time to our case, but at least someone is working on it.

At least your hearing somthing now, we still haven't even heard from our congressman yet after over 3 weeks and I even called on Monday to see what was going on but still didn't give me any information. Jan 13th and nothing. Hopefully no RFE's are required for us just someone taking there sweet time getting to it! Fingers are crossed and hoping today will be the day.
