I totally agree. Very extreme. I believe there are moderates as well as the extremes. Whereas, some folks believe there are only extremes.

Much like everything...

i don't think moderates are monolithic. i think they fall a little to the right a little to the left. i would like to think that one of the characteristics of a "moderate" is to find compromise, and not believe that there is only one overarching blanket solution to an issue.

Rule by extremists (or, as VW presumably likes to look at it, politicians who base their policy on the purest form of their chosen ideology as defined by presumably themselves as surely compromising with another will dilute these ideals) has only ever produced dictatorships. I am sure we can all come up with some of those. Perhaps VW has aspirations in that direction?
