Can we mail AOS packet certified? To what address?

We are abolut to mail off my husbands AOS, can we mal it certified? I know we must mail it to the Chicago lockbox because we live in Texas but, do we need to send it to the overnight express address or regular lockbox?

if you use private courier (UPS or FedX) then it MUST go to the physical address..

if you use ANY USPS product then it can go to the lockbox....

Yes, absolutely DO send it certified to the Chicago lockbox. Normal certified mail is fine.

We just used priority mail, and tracked it on the web. Worked fine.

It takes longer by certified mail. If you want it there next day use USPS Express Service, it will be there next day by noon and you can track it on the web and get a email with signature and time and date.

We did every applications from AOS to Citizenship and now IR5's for the parents that way and we have never had any problems.
