Just called NVC and found out our case was completed!!!!! Now fingers and everything crossed that I get an interview scheduled this or next week - I can't wait another month.

Great news, congrats. Fingers crossed that you hear about an interview date soon. Call the operator by Friday and they might tell you by phone.

Thanks Aidy for letting me know about your case. Three months is good to receive the NOA2, sounds reasonable. That would be around July 2nd. That would be nice. Ill try to stay calm, im just getting so nervous and excited.

Annie and Mike, there are alot of people in the same situation on the immigration forum websites, this question is asked a lot as i remember reading this question. So try using the search button and maybe this will help you find the answer. Ill try to look for you one day. I hope you find the answer you need and can feel at ease.

Im glad we have this support forum, it would be worse doing this all alone.

Congratulations, I would be calling everyday for that interview date. Fingers crossed that you get a July interview.

I have a quick question for those of you who've received interview dates. How quickly did you received your letters from the embassy? And did they update the automated phone line with the news or just leave it as case complete? I'm just wondering if I'll get the info without having to bug the operators every day!

i dont have my date yet but im going to bug them to death next week for my interview date...lol

I never got anything from the embassy. I did get another email from NVC with the interview letter and document checklist and the link to the embassy instructions for the interview and medical.

The AVR updated to say the case had been forwarded to the embassy.

I got my date too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOHOOO!!! And unbelievably it's July 1st - don't know how that happened, but I'm over the moon. Looks like my hubbie will come over for it and we'll travel back together - the first time we'll ever have taken a flight together. So happy but completely shocked too and quite unprepared - still need to get my medical, finish up a million and one things. But I'm not complaining :innocent:

Looks like lots of happy UK CR 1 filers. We have just got our NOA 2 approval 8th June so we are looking forward to going through the NVC stage as soon as is possible. We have the majority of the paperwork for NVC all completed so it's looking for that NVC case number now.

I expect Roberta will be daily calling the AVR to see if it has been assigned in order that we can then email them the choice of agent details.

This is an important thread and I have indeed learnt some really good information on your posts for which we are grateful. I guess like many we are hoping to get through this next stage smoothly and then onto the interview stage.
