Hi VJers,

I want to know if my fiance is allowed to enter to CFO building in Cebu or if He is allowed to attend the seminar?coz as he said he wanna attend the seminar coz it sounds interesting to him esp counselling. i just dont like it when we got there he will just wait for me outside the room. just curious... thanks for the reply :)

August 6, 2009 - AOS Sent together with EAD and AP
August 17, 2009 - Received NOAs of AOS, EAD and AP
Sept. 15, 2009 - Biometrics Appointment
Sept. 24, 2009 - Received E-mail approval notice for EAD and AP
October 2, 2009 - AP on hand
October 3, 2009 - EAD card on hand
November 12, 2009 - Interview Date / Approved
November 23, 2009 - Green Card Received

March 21, 2012 - Lifting Conditions

May 22, 2013 - Citizenship

when i had my cfo seminar in cebu there was a girl with her american fiance waiting too but only the girl came inside and had the seminar. they will only allow those who will have their seminar get inside the office and not other people.

and the counselling is watching magandang gabi bayan about pinays who had failure relationships to their american husbands...they were physically abused etc..etc..its like they will really make sure that you are ready to go something like that...and after they discuss about the immigration process thats it and after that one on one interview...so there is no place for your fiance there...but maybe if you can convince the nun to let him in...hehehehhehe.

better stay in the hotel or just wait outside. thats it.

oct. 6, 2008 ------received AOS bill/paid online

oct. 7, 2008 ------shows PAID

oct. 14,2008 -----IV fee generated/ paid online

oct. 15,2008 -----shows PAID

oct. 16,2008 -----mailed DS230 overnight

oct. 23,2008 ---- RFE

nov. 3,2008 ----- case complete

nov. 26,2008 --- medical exam

aug. 14,2009 --- remedical finally, passed

aug. 24, 2009 -- interview , passed

aug. 29, 2009 -- visa in hand

sept. 24, 2009 -- POE LAX

Or is it kept Hush Hush in PI and never discussed?

Dont forget to bring the ff:

1. photocopy of your passport ( first and last page)

2. Photocopy of the page of the passport where the visa is.

2. Photocopy of bc ( bring the original too)

3. Photocopy of your fiance's bc

4. pictures together

5. photocopy of a valid I.D.

Be there at 7:30, registration will start at this time.

You can bring your fiance with you but they won't allow him to be with you on the seminar and counseling. He needs to wait outside the building til you are done with all the CFO stuff. Good Luck! :)

You can bring your fiance with you but they won't allow him to be with you on the seminar and counseling. He needs to wait outside the building til you are done with all the CFO stuff. Good Luck! :)

She has already stated she is not gonna take her fiance to CFO :bonk:
