When you go out to eat and have the ask the server for MORE SUGAR! Never in my life have I seen so much sugar consumed by an individual in one cup of coffee or tea!

JEANNE...I CAN RELATE TO THIS ONE

my guy is a sugar hound....I swear...I thought I had a bad sweet tooth

When you find yourself begging him to put things in the dishwasher instead of wiping them with a cold sponge dipped in soapy water... rinsing it in cold water and putting it back in the cupboard wet....

When he spends more time ironing in a week than you have in a month...

When the countertop and floor around any sink is perpetually wet...

When you realize that you are the only one who ever eats with a fork... and all the spoons are dirty...

When everything that is one day past the "use by date" is thrown out, but the left over meat from a week ago is JUST FINE!!!! Even if it has been left out on the counter for 3 hours...

When he hands you antibiotics after each sneeze...

When he spends 3 hours trimming his beard and moustache but won't floss his teeth...

When he sleeps on TOP of the sheets, not under them...

When he boils a quart of water on the stove for a small cup of tea and won't use the microwave because it's not healthy...

When he has 4 pairs of shoes: 1) Outside the house 2) Inside the house 3) in the bathroom 4) on the balcony..

When it's 120 degrees in the bedroom and he doesn't want the fan on because it will give him a cold...

When you have to boil his cotton underwear... and hang it outside... because dryers ruin the fabric

When he won't give out the house phone number to his friends because the phone number his wife answers is PRIVATE.

When you think it's normal for people to do U-turns in the middle of ANY ROAD, ANY TIME... (OK not in the USA...)

And this is JUST the beginning...

Thank God the one I have highlighted has finally been addressed and remedied.

KH...are you sure we aren't married to the same man?????

I'll add a few......

Hair in the sink and enough water in the bathroom floor to swim from ablution.

Insists that everybody should wear "doubles" meaning two shirts and two pants even in very hot weather. (We once had an argument regarding this and he has come to the conclusion that Americans are too cheap to wear doubles...my conclusion we just don't feel the need and it is ridiculous at times. )

If you don't wear doubles you chest will get cold or your stomach will get cold and you will get sick.

14 sugars are just not enough at a restaurant and he asks for more and they look at him like he has lost his mind.

Has his inside clothes and his house clothes.

Buffets are the only places worth your money to eat out at.

Everybody is wrong and he is right. Ok, ok, maybe this isn't an Egyptian trait but my husband's trait.

In the evening when every normal person wants sleep he thinks it is visiting time or time to go to Walmart. Sorry no trips to Walmart at 1130pm when I have to be at work at 6am.

Egyptian time......always slowwwwwwwwwwwwww......never keeps mind of the time. If he says I will be there at 10 it means 11.

I could add so many more but I will leave room for others.....

Wael finally can't take buffets anymore!!! I almost died when he told me. He now would

rather go to a restaurant where he can actually order from the menu!! YIPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEE

We went to Cracker Barrel last week and he acted like he was upset when he got the bill. He said for 5.00 more we could go to Golden Corral and eat like kings. OMG...I am so sick of hearing that! I tell him over and over that sometimes the steak tastes like chicken which tastes like the potatoes which tastes like the grease there....everything seems to just taste the same after awhile. You can't argue with him though...you will lose!

I didn't know cuticle scissors could be of such use in trimming hair. I knew I should have hid those suckers from the very beginning. What is with all the trimming. Reminds me of my parrots preening all the time!

Ladies we just have to admit that they will always look good and smell good. But still looks as if a tornado hit the bathroom, altho he is much better at cleaning up now.

I second that one sister! Also, my husband is so picky about having the house spotless but he throws his clothes in a pile in the bedroom and NEVER makes the bed when he gets out of it. I think I am just turning this into a bi#$% session! Sorry!! LOL

Very funny...thanks for sharing.

Tasha I like what you said about the water on the bathroom floor

also a statement made about them wanting a clean house when they, themselves are slobs

I swear the men there have it made

I know there may be some but I see most as being spoiled and catered to.

i want someone to cater to me :(

Sandrila, don't we all? lol

I will say that hubby caters to me pretty well, just in a different way than he likes to be catered to. :D

I showed him the list and he was amused but had to point out that not ALL the points applied to himself. lol

Living with hubby in Egypt, at last.

Tasha, re: inside and outside clothes...OMG!!! I never used to wear my jammies all day long in the house before but for some reason my husband gets mad if I don't change IMMEDIATELY into my pj's when we get in the house, even if we are to go out again in another hour!!! I thought it was just him! I must say though, I'm much more comfy in the house now. :innocent:

Yes, then he wants to know why I do so much laundry??

I forgot to add that a man that has English as a secondary language wants to teach me English!! Ever heard that one???

Also, he yells and tells people that they are a bunch of scaredy cats when driving......well, if you've ever been to Egypt you can only imagine why he says this!

Another one...loves to have his picture made and loves to look at them. I find this strange because I run when a camera is on and hate to see myself.

Does not eat and drink at the same time.

Insists that all males in the home pizz sitting down.

Will wash his own dish and spoon on his own nice and polite but will leave a sink of full of other dishes.

So you've all met my husband! Great!!

These sound so spot on it's crazy! Some more than others. I've gotten the water around the bathroom sink taken care of, now for the floor. He will also now take his plate to the sink instead of leaving it on the table, but that's it.

He loves to cook, and will use every pan in the kitchen, always with some sort of tomato sauce that must splatter everywhere to taste right. But will not clean any of it up!

God love 'em!
