Timeline

Hello,

I am just wanting to find out from the people that have been through the waiting for the NOA2 about their experience with the timelines, especially Igor's List. I understand that it is merely a representation of who is waiting and who is getting approved from around a specific month but I wanted to see if stagnating and even going backwards on the list means that longer wait times are ahead or if it is perfectly normal for it to be this way, maybe it was just like that when you went through it. Just like every other couple here on VJ we are very axious to be reunited and we watch the timelines, the forums and the USCIS news to give us a better idea of where we are. I know that we must be patient but I wanted to see your experience when you were waiting.

We started out number 418 and after 40 days from NOA1 we are 372. We were 362 then moved back but we have been around the 370's for about a three weeks. Is that an indication of longer times to come?

We are Ovidiu and Andreea.

Thank You

It's not an indication of longer times to come. It's just that other members who applied before you have joined/ updated their timelines. They've already been in the queue, Igor's List just didn't account for them yet.

As for my experience (we weren't a K-1), I watched us go up and down and get quite far down (or is it up?) on the list while still not hearing from USCIS. We spent a month outside of processing times before hearing anything though.

Igor's List is a nice guide but of course you can't rely on it. USCIS can do whatever they feel like, whenever they feel like it.
