A FEW DAYS AGO , MY GIRL HAD HER INTERVIEW FOR A K 1 VISA, I WAS PRESENT WITH HER DURING THE INTERVIEW AND THE RESULT WAS THAT SHE WAS NOT GRANTED HER VISA DUE TO THE FOLLOWING:

MY SYSTER AND I ARE AMERICAN CITIZENS AND WE BOTH HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH A BROTHER AND SISTER,

MY SISTER IS DATING MY GIRL'S BROTHER, THEY MET LAST YR AND EVENTUALLY DECIDED TO PURSUE THA K 1 FIANCEE VISA, WHICH WAS DENIED LAST MONTH DUE TO AMERICAN EMBASSY SAYING THAT THEIR RELATIONSHIP WAS A SET UP , FIX, ETC.

I N MY CASE I'VE BEEN DATING MY GIRL FOR THREE YRS. AND I HAD ALREADY FILE A PRIOR PETITION FOR HER IN 2007 WHICH WAS GRANTED, BUT DUE TO HEALTH REASON IN HER FAMILY SHE WENT BACK TO HER COUNTRY BEFORE WE GOT MARRIED, I FILED A SECOND PETITION FOR HER AND THIS WAS NOT COMPLETELY DENIED BUT I WAS GIVING A WHITE PAPER WHERE THEY SAY I'M WELCOME TO REQUEST A SECOND INTERVIEW WHEN I'M READY TO TALK ABOUT MY SISTER CASE.

NOW LET ME EXPLAIN, MY GIRL AND I WE'VE BEEN TOGETHER FOR 3 YRS. MY SISTER AND HER MAN HAVE BEEN DATING FOR A YR., BOTH COUPLES FILED A K 1 FIANCEE PETITION ONE MONTH APART, AND BOTH WERE DENIED. MY INTERVIEW WAS JUST A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO, AND THE REASON MY GIRL'S VISA WAS NOT GRANTED WAS BECUASE THEY SAY MY SISTER RELATIONSHIP IS A FRAUDE, THAT SOMEONE PLANNED AND THEY WANT ME TO SAY WHO DID IT, THEY ATTACKED WITH THE SAME QUESTION OVER AND OVER, AND THRU ALL THE QUESTIONING I MAINTAINED THE SAME ANSWER WHICH WAS MY SISTER RELATIONSHIP IS REAL, NOBODY PLANNED, THEY JUST MET, FELL IN LOVE AND EVENTUALLY PURSUED THE KN 1 VISA TO BE TOGETHER AND GET MARRIED. AT THE AMERICAN EMBASSY THEY CALLED ME A LIAR, AND THEY TOLD IF I WANTED MY GIR TO GET HER VISA. THEY INSISTED THAT I MUST TELL THEM WHO'S IDEA WAS FOR MY SISTER TO FILED A PETITION , WHO PLANEED ETC. THEY REPEATEDLY SAID TO ME IF I WANT MY GIRL TO GET HER VISA I MUST CHANGE MY ANSWER AND PROVIDE THEM WITH A NAME OF WHO PLANNED. IN OTHER WORDS, I FELT THAT THEY WERE BLACKMAILING ME IN EXCHANGE FOR MY GIR TO HER VISA, WHICH I WILL NEVER DUE, BECUASE BOTH RELATIONSHIPS ARE REAL BASE ON LOVE. I MUST ADD THAT DURING THE INTERVIEW THEY TOLD ME THEY HAD NO PROBLEM WITH MY RELATIONSHIP BUT WILL NOT GRANT VISA BECAUSE I'M A LIAR, AND I DON'T WANT TO SAY TO PLANNED MY SISTER PETITION.

NOW , I WANT TO KNOW IF ANYONE HAS SEEN A CASE LIKE MINE AND WHAT WAS THE RESULT, I WANT TO KNOW WHAT TO DO , I'M PLANNING TO CONSULT WITH A INMIGRATION LAWYER AND SEE WHAT CAN BE DONE, ESPECIALLY WHEN IN THE PAPER THAT WE WERE GIVEN IT SAYS SPECIFICALLY THAT I CAN SCHEDULE A SECOND INTERVIEW WHEN I'M READY TO TALK ABOUT MY SIBLINGS CASE, IN OTHER WORDS THEY WANT ME TO SAY WHAT'S NOT TRUE AND I WILL NEVER DO THAT ........BECAUSE NOBODY IS LYING

Wow! Definitely talk to a lawyer and you might also want to contact your Senator and lay out the facts of the situation before him. This is totally inappropriate. Good luck to you.

Please do not type in all caps. It makes longer posts difficult to read. It sounds like your situation is more complicated than can be easily covered in a forum like VJ. I'd go talk with an experienced immigration attorney before calling a senator.

How we meet our fiance(e)s/spouses is often reasons for RFE's in higher fraud countries. I am not sure if Columbia is considered high fraud.

The weakness of your sister's petition is the central issue here. The CO is looking for you to "fix the holes" in your sister's story. Saying over and over that two people love each other isn't a good argument. Prepare the details of your sister's story as well as you prepared the details of your own and it sounds as if you will be successful. And hopefully your sister can repetition as well.

Sorry I typed all in caps before, but my friends computer had her laptop caps button stuck and i just wanted to post so i can have an idea on what to do, thanks to the people that replied my post, and I will keep informing myself thru reading and finding ways to prepare myself before i request the second interview, i will also keep reading your posts and advises

Sounds like your case will be denied and the "reason" will be nothing to do with what you described. You can spend lot of time and money feeding attorneys, or go to Colombia marry your girl and file for CR-1.

In this kind of case surely the embassy will get more paranoid and suspicious on you guys...that ur sister trying to get an American Visa though u love the girl and ur sister loves the girl brother...I cant say much here...coz thats normal thing in every US Embassy. You can provide more evidence. And I believe you can hire lawyers guess only for Immigration when u filing papers in USA for ur citizenship but not for US Embassy Interview visa related issue..
