I am assuming your time frame to get a ticket is probably over buy now. I will only say, I hope indeed you were able to muster through somehow and get that ticket. Let this be a good lesson for all of us out here...Never, Ever wait until almost the last minute! We must always be prepared and be sure we are aware of any dates coming close to expiring. I pray my friend, that you were able to get this handled. All of this takes so much time as it is that it would be long and dreadful to have to start all over. Unless it was caused by a urgent family emergency which is provable on her end, I think it might be hard to get approved again this early in the process. I wish you both the best, and my prayers are with you.

her fault ??? book it few days in advance not the exact date come on think!!!! Even if she was at bar flights are canceled etc etc etc and the time in damn security now it feels like days.Don't blame anyone for not having forethought of what might happen expect it most things are a test WHAT TO DO NOW??? MMM GET ON THE HORN TO PEOPLE THAT COUNT NOT ON HERE.EXPLAIN THE ERROR IN JUDGMENT UNWILLINGNESS TO LEAVE EACH OTHERS SIDE TILL LAST MINUTE AND GO FROM THERE.Or don't up to you but blame has no place in a loving relationship.

I'm really not even clear on what you're trying to say as there is very little punctuation and the sentences all just run in together. But, personal attacks have no place on VJ either. It is not our place to judge. This poster is merely looking for advice on where to go from here. If you have nothing productive to say it's simple, post nothing. Thanks.

To the OP, depending on what the visa exp date really is, you should call the Embassy first and foremost. As pay suggested, it is at their discretion to extend, or not. In the meantime, do whatever you can to get her accross any POE asap!

good luck

was thinking about you

how are you?

YOU ARE STILL IN TIME MAYBE

you need a reissuance of your K1 visa and

go to US and marry before Aug 22th or so

not sure how easy pratically though...

would ask the embassy

or hopefully you made it there and are now married.

still this post is interesting I think

found at

http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/87391.pdf

department of state manual foreign affairs manual

paragraph 41.81

see picture attached

visa can be reissued and you need to marry within 90 days after the expiration of the first visa
