Hi All, did any of you got an interview date if your case was

completed at NVC in that past few days?

Our case was completed on May. 15th,

and still waiting for interview date.

did anyone got their interview date in Mumbai, India?

Hi,

If your case was completed on May 15th, your interview date will be assigned in the last two weeks of June. NVC assigns interviews every month in the last two weeks of the month. Hope that info helped! Don't worry, you'll have your date soon

If your case was completed on May 15th, your interview date will be assigned in the last two weeks of June. NVC assigns interviews every month in the last two weeks of the month. Hope that info helped! Don't worry, you'll have your date soon

Do you have any idea what all are document we need to submit in VFS office for CR1/IR1 interview process.?

once we will get appointment letter from NVC

1. Medical Reports (in VFS office or direct in Mumbai consulate?)

2. Photographs

3. Packat 3 Form (in VFS office or direct send to mumbai consulate?)

Once you get the appointment letter from NVC. you need to get the medical done. then 7 days prior to the interview date u need to submit

1. Medical Reports

2. Packat 3 Form

3. ur birht cirti, mrg cirti.

to the VFS office.

Photograph i m not sure if v need to submit it in vfs ofce or need to carry it with us at interview.

Hi Vishal:

My case completed yesterday 5/28/2009 (as per AVR) and my case is also going to be process at Mumbai Consulate. I called NVC today and operator told me that they might assign interview date within couple of days ... but your case completed on 15th so call NVC and they will give your status.

Also if you get any update please let me know.

start calling NVC every alternate day. they will give ou date soon. and it not compulsary to assign date in second week of month. i got mine on next day of case completion.

for you guys info who is goin to mumbai VFS..... dont go 7 days prior to interview, you can go on 10 days prior . 7 day prior is deadline, dont count weekends and federal holidays in tht. so u can go on 10th, 9th, 8th or lastly 7th day prior to interview ..

list of documents you need at VFS

2*2 photo

original+ 2 copies of passport

DS-230 part -1 &2 ( if submitted original at NVC then xerox)

original BC + one xerox copy ( english + native language)

original MC + one xerox ( english + native language)

medical report small envelope

interview letter 2 xerox copies

courier fees some 364 or so

star and strips lounge entry fees some 250 .

will post if i forgot anthing else.

if you have another copy of originals then take it ...... otherwise take xerox copy of it and show the list in interview letter of the documents submitted at NVC.... hope this will work ..

they had asked from me originals. to my opinion you hvv time if you want you can make 1 or 2 extra original copies .. the charges are negligible .. its upon you.. and they will return originals to you

You are right... if you have submitted Original at NVC then you don't have to get another Original just Xerox will work and before interview they will give you all of your original which you have submitted to NVC and if not then the interviewer will have your entire package send by NVC and upon your request they will give all originals back to you.

Also, you don't have to submit all documents to VFS... you MUST have to pay courier fees(Rs. 364 or something not sure - if you are planning to pickup your Visa granted passport from VFS office then also you MUST have to pay this fee) and you can say that you will bring all other documents during your interview and also you MUST carry your Original passport to VFS office.
