I am not sure what this means but the interviewer we had said that our case would require further review! i ask her how long it might take for a decision she stated around 4 to 6 months estimation. Does this means our case will be denied? I am on pins and needles My husband has begun working and we were lookin forward to starting our lives. The interviewer wanted more bone fide proof . My tax preparer accidently did not add my husband ! she filed head of househod! the interviewer stated that it would be placed in our file but i could try to amend '08 tax year which i immediately took care of . Then my husband messed up on my daughter's name ! The information that I gave was our health insurance information through my job ,life insurance policies as my husband as my beneficiary, letter from bank stating our joint account, cards from differentholidays and ocassions, a few photos of us (Wedding pics too) and letters from family and friends . i dont know what else to give. I am so worried

Has anyone experience the same thing ?

You gave plenty of evidence of your relationship. Of course, the messing of your daughter's name could weight in the balance, BUT, there are other things in balance here: maybe the immigration officer had no authority to approve your file on the spot, maybe the FBI did not clear the name of the beneficiary, maybe the interviewing officer needed his/her superior to review your file before approving it. I would not say the interview went that bad for you to see a second/stoke interview notice in the mail. Stay positive.

11/17/08 : Application sent (I-130, I-131, I-485, I-765)

11/18/08 : Official receipt of documents stated on I-797C (Signature for receipt at USCIS was on 11/17/2008 at 10PM)

11/28/08 : NOA Received ( I-797C) for all 4 forms (forms issued on 11/26/2008)

12/18/2008: LUD on I-130, I-131, I-765

01/29/2009: Bio done

01/29, 30/2009: LUD on I485 and I765

2/10/2009: issued AP, valid 1 year for multiple entries.

2/23/2009: Got EAD card

3/8/2009: LUD on all applications. Shows approval of I131 and I765, still pending on I130, I485.

04/28/2009 at 9:30 AM: Interview. Told to wait 90 days for a resolution by mail.

05/01/2009: Card production ordered.

05/06/2009: Received approval NOAs for I130 and I485 (welcome notice, 10 years card). I130 still shows case received and pending.

06/18/2009: got the 10 years validity card. Process length: 213 days since sending the applications.

No RFE at all along the process.

The officer interviewing us did not approve on the spot, yet 3 days later the card was ordered. I heard of other people getting the visa stamp in the passport at the interview. As many officers, as many approaches. No need to worry, it is not like worrying would change one thing about the decision of the officer (not like the more you worry about it, the better the decision would be). So relax, there is nothing that you could do now to turn this process positive for you. Enjoy life!
